Kisah ini diriwayatkan oleh Anas bin Malik r.a. Pada suatu pagi Rasulullah SAW bersama dengan sahabatnya Anas bin Malik r.a. melihat suatu keanehan. Bagaimana tidak, matahari terlihat begitu redup dan kurang bercahaya mirip biasanya.
Tak lama kemudian Rasulullah SAW dihampiri oleh Malaikat Jibril.
Lalu Rasulullah SAW bertanya kepada Malaikat Jibril : “Wahai Jibril, kenapa Matahari pagi ini terbit dalam keadaan redup? Padahal tidak mendung?”
“Ya Rasulullah, Matahari ini nampak redup lantaran terlalu banyak sayap para malaikat yang menghalanginya.” jawab Malaikat Jibril.
Rasulullah SAW bertanya lagi : “Wahai Jibril, berapa jumlah Malaikat yang menghalangi matahari saat ini?”
“Ya Rasulullah, 70 ribu Malaikat.” jawab Malaikat Jibril.
Rasulullah SAW bertanya lagi : “Apa gerangan yang menjadikan Malaikat menutupi Matahari?”
Kemudian Malaikat Jibril menjawab : “Ketahuilah wahai Rasulullah, sebenarnya Tuhan SWT telah mengutus 70 ribu Malaikat semoga membacakan shalawat kepada salah satu umatmu.”
“Siapakah dia, wahai Jibril?” tanya Rasulullah SAW.
“Dialah Muawiyah…!!!”jawab Malaikat Jibril.
Rasulullah SAW bertanya lagi : “Apa yang telah dilakukan oleh Muawiyah sehingga ketika ia meninggal menerima kemuliaan yang sangat luar biasa ini?”
Malaikat Jibril menjawab : “Ketahuilah wahai Rasulullah, sebenarnya Muawiyah itu semasa hidupnya banyak membaca Surat Al-Ikhlas di waktu malam, siang, pagi, waktu duduk, waktu berjalan, waktu berdiri, bahkan dalam setiap keadaan selalu membaca Surat Al-Ikhlas.”
Malaikat Jibril melanjutkan penuturannya : “Dari itulah Tuhan SWT mengutus sebanyak 70 ribu malaikat untuk membacakan shalawat kepada umatmu yang bernama Muawiyah tersebut.”
Allahuakbar, Masya Tuhan sahabat, Tuhan Maha Besar bacalah sekali lagi hadits diatas sahabat begitu besar nikmat yang diberikan oleh Tuhan SWT kepada seorang hamba-Nya jikalau menyempatkan diri untuk mengamalkan serta membaca Surrah Al Qur’an yaitu Al Ikhlas setiap hari. Dan Insya Tuhan akan didoakan oleh Malaikat Tuhan serta juga Insya Tuhan akan dimasukkan kedalam golongan-golongan orang-orang yang menerima kemenangan pada hari alam awet nanti yaitu menjadi salah satu penghuni Surga-Nya, Amiin.
Dalam hadits lain Rasulullah SAW bersabda yang artinya :”Apakah seorang di antara kalian tidak sanggup untuk membaca sepertiga Al-Qur’an dalam semalam?” Mereka menjawab, “Bagaimana mungkin kami sanggup membaca sepertigai Al-Qur’an?” Lalu Nabi SAW bersabda, “Qul huwallahu ahad itu sebanding dengan sepertiga Al-Qur’an.” (H.R.
